The updated Murat Gassiev vs. German Michael Wallisch match is set for Thursday, July 22, at the Dynamo Volleyball Arena in Moscow, Russia. Initially, German contender Erkan Teper was slated to meet Murat Gassiev on July 22 in a 10-round heavyweight bout. Michael Wallisch has replaced Teper.
The match was initially scheduled to happen between veteran Kevin Johnson and Murat Gassiev. But, for multiple reasons, Erkan Teper came in, who has now been replaced by Michael Wallisch. The German professional boxer will not be a part of this fight. Teper faced some pandemic-related paperwork issues. There are still a lot of restrictions when traveling from one part of the world to the other. Erkan Teper was considered a worthy opponent for Murat Gassiev, the former world champion.
